Suryabinayak Ganesh Temple

Suryavinayak Ganesh Temple is a Hindu temple, located in Bhaktapur district, Nepal. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Ganesh made in King Lichhavi period. The Suryavinayak Temple is one of the four popular shrines of Lord Ganesh (Suryabinayak, Jalbinayak, Chandrabinayak and Ashokbinayak) in the Kathmandu. The temple is also known as the temple of the rising sun. There is a belief that after worshipping here, those children who can’t speak will start speaking. For the new beginning as there, people worship the idol for fruitfull endings.

Hanumandhoka

Hanuman Dhoka is a complex of structures with the Royal Palace of the Malla kings and also of the Shah dynasty in the Durbar Square of central Kathmandu, Nepal. The Hanuman Dhoka Palace gets its name from the stone image of Hanuman, the Hindu deity, that sits near the main entryway. 'Dhoka' means door or gate in Nepali. Lord Hanuman (also known as monkey god) resides at the entrance of the palace which safeguards and protects the palace. Hanuman is decked with a red cloth and an umbrella. The face is smeared with a red paste (sindur). Devotees worship this god by applying sindur on his whole body. They believe that Hanuman will protect the palace as well as everyone in that valley from demons.

Guhyeshwari Temple

 is one of the revered holy temples in Kathmandu, Nepal. This temple is dedicated to Adi Shakti. The temple is also a Shakti Peeth and it's about 1 km east of Pashupatinath Temple and is located on the southern bank of the Bagmati River. It is an important pilgrimage destination for Hindus, especially for Tantric worshipers done by Karmacharya priests. King Pratap Malla renovated this temple in the 17th century. There is a belief that by reaching here and worshipping, the power of the goddess is met and incomplete work is completed.

Dakshinkali Temple

Dakshinkali Temple is a religious destination for the devotees dedicated to the goddess Kali, located 22km away from the Kathmandu valley and 1km away from the Pharping. Dakshinkali is the benevolent mother, who protects her devotees and children from mishaps and misfortunes. The idol of Dakshinkali Maa’s right foot is on the chest of Shiva depicting even more fearsome Vamakali. Animal sacrifices, particularly od cockerels and uncastrated male goats, are the main way worshipping this goddess. One version of the origin of her name comes from the story of Yama, lord of death, who lives in the south (Dakshina). When Yama heard Kali's name, he filled in terror, and so those who worship Kali are said to be able to overcome death itself. This temple is also situated in the south (dakshin) part of Kathmandu valley.

Budhanilkantha Temple is  known as the Narayanthan Temple, and can be identified by a large reclining statue of Lord Mahavishnu. Budhanilkantha is a pilgrimage site for thousands of devotees. This place is crowded especially during Haribondhini Ekadashi, the 11th day of the Hindu month of Kartik. It is a very significant festival in celebration of the awakening of Lord Vishnu from his long sleep. According to religious beliefs, Pandav brothers, after the Mahabharata of Kurushetra, left for the Himalayas in search of forgiveness from Lord Shiva for the killing of many people during the war. But Lord Shiva was not willing to forgive them thus he disguised in the form of bull.
